Testimonials
I appreciate the coaches' understanding that these are still kids who are trying to discover their many talents. They do a good job of emphasizing the importance of making a commitment to a team, but they also understand when other school extracurricular activities may cause players to miss a practice. They encourage the players to come to another team's practice during the week. I like how they encourage full-development of our youth. ~ Carin
This is not just a soccer team. This is family. Forever grateful for these girls, their parents and this Coach {Matt Alexander} who selflessly gives his time to teach the game of soccer and is invested in their personal development on and off the field. We truly hit the jackpot with this group! ~ Kayleen
We appreciate the effort invested by Coach Matt Alexander and the Blackhawks coaching staff to develop a system that maximizes both individual player development and overall understanding of the game. With each season, there is continuous, measurable improvement in individual fundamental skills and game strategy. It’s wonderful to watch the players and teams develop over time and be rewarded for their hard work by achieving success on the field. ~ Larry
Competitive pricing makes it affordable. Coaches really care about our kids both on and off the field.
Because of the annual fundraiser that funds scholarships, my boys got the opportunity to play competitive ball - something they might otherwise have never done.
The Blackhawks are one of the very few select clubs we’ve experienced that was committed to growing the players and the teams, but still allowing enough time for family or school activities. The coaching staff does an excellent job of maximizing the training time, so the players experience a top-level select club, while still enjoying activities outside of soccer. ~ Larry
We are from Sherman and we found this club by chance 2 years ago. My son played on a team locally, but with the new age-pure rules his team disbanded. So, we had 2 options: find a new team or quit playing soccer all together. My son wanted to continue to play. We happened upon the Blackhawks and emailed Coach Matt Alexander about a tryout with the 01 team. We came to the tryout Tuesday and Coach Luis Zavala was running the training session and it was well-organized. We were asked to return for Thursday’s session, but my son was a bit hesitant. Coach Matt followed up by calling asking if we were still interested. He said coach Luis really like my son. We talked and we decided to stay. This is not only a team but it’s a family. ~ Nestor
Our coach takes the time to learn and understand the appropriate motivation for each individual player to keep them on the path of continuous improvement. He will only accept maximum effort from each player to help them achieve their potential, but this is always done with respect and genuine concern for each and every player. ~ Larry
